Tell Edinburgh Wollen Mill: compensate your workers in Bangladesh!
Let's all call Edinburgh Woollen Mill to get our point heard
Phone EWM to tell them to pay compensation
In the face of overwhelming evidence from the Tazreen fashions factory in Bangladesh, Edinburgh Woollen Mill are still denying their responsibility to the 112+ workers who died in the fire there last November. We've got labels, documents, order sheets, photos, and burnt jumpers linking EWM to the factory but they are still burying their head in the sand. Victims and survivors need compensation.
The global trade union, IndustriALL, has invited Edinburgh Woollen Mill to attend a meeting in Geneva on the 11th September to discuss (with other retailers) a compensation fund for the families of those killed and the workers who were injured in the Tazreen Fashions fire. Once again, Edinburgh Woollen Mill have refused to respond.
