The goal is to be accurate and clear and so rather than repeating work already (and successfully) done by projects like No Sweat, Corporation-free.org only aims to aggregate a vast range of different campaigns and information, hoping that the message goes one step further. The final purpose is not only to get as many ‘pledgers’ as possible, but to create an online platform where the issue of corporate abuse and consumer responsibility can be discussed by as many people as possible. If we are to do something about the destructive practises of unchecked power and an exclusively profit-driven economy, we need as much information as we can and as many ideas as possible.
