Demo: 100 Days to Stop Bush & Cheney's Iraq Oil Grab!

There'll be a 12ft high Dick Cheney and Samba band and celebratory atmosphere at the US embassy when we bring down Cheney. It'll be fun. There will be clever and funny things and explainatory short talks along the way and maybe some pirates....

Its a pretty key thing as the hook for it isn't just the 100 days til Bush and Cheney are out but there is going to be a real push for oil control in Iraq over the next 3 months.

More than this though, just two days later there is a major closed-door summit of 41 oil companies meeting with the Iraqi oil minister in central London. They'll be discussing the details of the new contracts to be signed.

It means there'll be a lot of attention on the issue as it marks the brink of potential privatisation - so being out in the streets and showing solidarity with the people of occupied Iraq is really important.
