For many months, the workers in Bangladesh's textile industry have been waging a militant struggle against sweatshop conditions and poverty pay. Their strikes, demonstrations and riots have been met with brutal state repression and many trade unionists are now being detained under draconian Emergency Powers Legislation. High street stores in this country are making massive profits on the back of this repression and exploitation. One of the factories invovled is a major supplier to Tesco, Primark and H&M.
Join us for a picket of Tesco and help build the movement of international workers solidarity against the excesses of gloabl capitalism.
