Copies were given to Unison and Unite (TGWU) reps as well as distributed around the student union. The WRC will have its work cut out for it in 2007/2008, as redevelopment of much of Sheffield's student accomodation threatens catering workers' jobs. The production of the bulletin was a warning shot to university management that there are voices in the student community who will speak up if and when the university's multi-million pound expansions, redevelopments and restructurings impact negatively on the workers who make Sheffield University function.
