Athit is currently the vice president of the CCAWDU, which organises 26,000 garment workers in Cambodia.

Pherak began working in the garment industry when she was 14 and worked there for 8 years before the factory closed following the MFA phase out in 2005. In 2003 she began working as an organiser for WAC.

Come and hear first hand the conditions facing garment worker activists in Cambodia and how they are fighting back and find out what you can do to pressure the brands profiting from cambodian sweatshops and the government that fits up and jails union activists.
