Our experience as a trading company has shown that the way that food is bought and sold in the UK has a massive impact on the lives of farmers and workers around the world. In particular, we are looking at how supermarket practices in this country affect suppliers in developing countries who sell to the UK market.
Our greatest concern are the massive risks and costs passed onto suppliers by the supermarkets. The UK 's Competition Commission has started an in-depth investigation into the grocery sector to look at these issues and we need your help.
We would be really interested to find out your views on supermarkets, and particularly the importance you place on good conditions for workers providing products to the UK market.
