NO SWEAT Brighton Meeting

From June to October 2006, the Mexican city of Oaxaca was under the control of the Popular Assembly of the People of Oaxaca (APPO), a coalition of indigenous, trade union and student activists created in response to the state governor's failed attempt to evict striking teachers in June.
But since October last year, when riot police stormed the city, injuring hundreds, Oaxaca has faced bloody state repression.

Lawyer Andres Aullet is involved in the Committee of Relatives of Political Prisoners of Oaxaca. He will talk about the situation in the city. Plus new video of the Oaxaca struggles.
