Celebrate the first anniversary of Wales becoming the world's first Fair Trade nation. This year Fair Trade Wales hosts its first conference in West Wales where we will BANG THE DRUM FOR FAIR TRADE!
Uzbekistan is the 3rd biggest exporter of cotton in the world. Its booming cotton industry generates over US$1 billion annually, but the industry, which largely supplies the European market, is underpinned by a system of state sponsored forced labour, particularly of children.

Thursday 11th June there's very special event to bring a smile to the face of serious comedy fans as Robin Ince and friends revive The Book Club especially for No Sweat. Joining Robin for this special performance will be old friends of No Sweat Simon Munnery & Andrew O'Neill, along with newcomers to the No Sweat gigs Natalie Haynes and Martin White...and special guest Alexei Sayle.

In recognition of Refugee Week this June, and due to the success of the event last year, "Refuge In Films" is back bigger and better than before. Refuge In Films 2009 from 19 - 21 June at the BFI in London's Southbank. The event will showcase films about the refugee experience and aims to stimulate reflection about issues surronding seeking refuge.
This festival includes a film based on experiences of migrant sweatshop workers and will be followed by a discussion with a No Sweat activist
