What is the effect of the ever quickening race to the bottom in the casualised garment sector in India, and in the oil fields of occupied Iraq. What do the stories of oil and sweatshop workers have in common with our lives lived in social peace in the UK? How can we continue to combat capitalism and stand up to casualisation, privatisation and dehumanisation in these days of financial crisis?
