National Climate March London

The March will bring four main themes to the UK government:
- NO to runaway expansion in aviation
- NO new coal - no new coal-fired power stations
- NO to the expansion of agrofuels
- YES to a renewable energy revolution and green jobs

Assemble: 12noon at Speakers Corner, Hyde Park.

  • George Monbiot- author & journalist
  • Caroline Lucas - Leader, Green Party
  • Nick Clegg - Leader, Lib Dems
  • Michael Meacher - ex-environment minister

March with Bangladeshi Trade Unionists

No Sweat have linked up with Workers' Climate Action to build a class struggle contingent for Climate Change Demonstration. We will be there in solidarity with the delegation from the National Garment Workers Federation of Bangladesh and we are calling on trade unionists and workers in this country to join us.

When climate change strikes it is always the poor and the working class who are first to suffer. We need to raise the banner of international workers solidarity in the face of environmental disaster.

Meet at Exit 9 of the Marble Arch Subway at 12 midday.
