Next week, the last big factory in the Rhondda Valley will close as Burberry, the luxury brand that put the plaid in Cymru, moves to China.

Valentine's Day protest against Burberry's plan to move production from a unionised plant in south Wales to Chinese sweatshops.
Join us at Burberry's, 157 Regent Street (Oxford Circus tube) in central London.

The GMB union has organised co-ordinated international protests against Burberry on Valentines Day, 14 February.
Burberry says it is closing its unionised South Wales factory to move garment production to Chinese sweatshops.
Burberry has yet to give assurances that the two factories in Shenzhen in the Guangdong province of China where production is likely to be moved to will not employ child labour or use forced, prison labour.

No Sweat activists wrapped up the front of the Burberry store, on Regent Street, central London, watched by a large posse of press and helped by a group of Burberry workers.
With brown paper and fake second class stamps we "posted" Burberry to China where they have moved production to take advantage of China's repressive labour laws and non-union, ultra-cheap labour.
